Professional freelance photographer in Japan

During the first years, while developing my pictorial vocabulary, with obsession for details (see Artisan @ Paris) nonetheless my work was still informative, relating the different universe arround me. Accustomed to work in natural lights, the result of each of my pictures give a mood proper to the real atmosphere of the photographed subject. The orientation of my work does not consist in staging, but to grasp the vision of a unique instant.

Settled in Japan since 2007 (in Yokohama, near Tokyo) after many years in Paris ; I work as photographer/cameraman/reporter, totally with digital cameras permitting to obtain pictures in very high resolution (like the Canon EO5 5D MarkII), offering quality, flexibility and speed of processing, unequalled. I possess among others several banks of pictures on various subjects, including Japan (www.lejapon.fr et www.photosdujapon.com). I am the author at Chêne editor (HACHETTE Group) of the books : JAPON, Traditionnel Japon, JAPON 365 Us et Coutumes, Le Japon - Grands Voyageurs (pictures), and at MARK’S editor of the book Le Japon Vu de l’Intérieur .
